I've got something exciting to share with you. As a kickass design agency, I totally get the importance of showing off your Proof of Work to the world. It's like putting your best foot forward and saying, "Hey, check out what we can do!" So, guess what? (I usually don't write blogs) I decided to write a micro blog on this topic, because this topic is too good to resist.
Picture this: You're on Zomato, scouting for a delicious meal. Boom! You stumble upon a restaurant that everyone's raving about. But hold up! When you check out the menu, there's something missing... no mouthwatering food pics 😶. Uh-oh, big mistake! Let's be honest, you're not gonna take a chance on ordering blind, right? Well, guess what? The same thing happens when people are hiring. They wanna see what you've got to offer, what you've done, the proof of your skills. So, if you've got some tasty work to show off, don't keep it a secret! Flaunt it like a chef flaunts their culinary masterpieces, and watch those juicy opportunities come your way!
Proof of Work (PoW) is like your resume on steroids🚀. It's all about showcasing what you've actually done and accomplished. It can be a link to a project you've built, whether it's in design, writing, marketing, or development. It's basically your published work that proves you've got the skills and knowledge to tackle opportunities like a boss. Think of it as your secret weapon to stand out from the crowd. When you create something awesome and share it with the world, it shows that you're not just talk - you're a go-getter who's constantly learning and growing. Having solid proof of your work builds trust and makes you the go-to person for exciting opportunities.
Many ways to create to PoW, but the easiest and best way to create PoW is Fueler. Fueler gives you the opportunity to showcase all your hard work at single platform. Also join their WhatsApp Community, it's really worth it. I myself got 2 freelance work from the community.
Other ways to create PoW is to share what you learn on Twitter, Instagram, or any social media. It could also be Behance, Dribbble, etc.
I also belive if you are developer or especially designer you need to have custom portfolio. If you build your own website that will give an extra edge. Learn more about Proof-Of-Work
